1. Extended Aeration System:
Extended aeration is a method of treatment using modified
activated sludge procedures. The whole process is aerobic.
This simplification implies longer aeration time which has
earned for the process the name "extended aeration". The
BOD removal efficiency of the extended aeration process is
higher than activated sludge process which makes it
especially desirable to use where it is to be followed by
tertiary treatment for reuse.

3. MBBR (Moving Bed Bio Reactor)
The Moving Bed Bio-film Reactor or MBBR process is based on the
aerobic bio-film principle and utilizes the advantages of activated
sludge and other bio-film systems. The bio-film also provides a more
stable “home” for the bacteria to grow, so there is less space required
compared to other biological systems.

4. MBR (Membrane Bio Reactor)
Combining conventional activated sludge treatment with low pressure
membrane filtration, the MBR proven to be a techno-commercially
viable and efficient method of producing reclaimed water from
municipal waste water. This system integrates membrane separation
and biotechnology, rejects activated sludge and macromolecular
organic matter in aerobic tank/MBR tank with membrane separation
plant, thus saving the use of secondary sedimentation tank.
